A general assistant will answer anything, adequately. We build the opposite: one app per question worth asking about something in front of you. Point the camera, get an answer with its reasoning shown — and an honest “I can’t tell” when that is the truth.

Snap a product, get affordable dupes
Photograph a fragrance, a lipstick, a bag or a pair of shoes. Dupely names it and finds the closest affordable alternatives — with what you keep and what you give up.
Can I eat this? Any label, any language
Photograph the ingredient list on any packaged food. Bitewise translates it line by line and gives one verdict per entry in your dietary profile, with the culprits named.
Every app is the same four steps. The interesting work is in the schema and the refusals — making a model answer one question well, and admit when it cannot.

The phone downsizes to 1024 px and re-encodes as JPEG, which drops the EXIF block and its GPS coordinates before anything leaves the device.

The image goes to a vision model with a prompt written for this one question, in the language you asked in. No general chat, no open-ended assistant.

The answer must validate against one shared schema. Anything that does not is rejected and retried on a fallback model rather than shown to you half-formed.

One answer with its reasoning attached. Where the model cannot tell, the app says so — an empty answer is a real answer, and better than an invented one.
No accounts, anywhere. Neither app asks for a name, an email address or a password. Your phone generates a random identifier, that is what keeps your history yours, and one button in Settings deletes everything held against it.
One address reaches us, and a person reads it. Support requests, App Review questions and press enquiries all land in the same place.
